5km of steep climbing with amazing scenery took us out of Dubrovnik. We reached the Montenegro border after about 40km and soon arrived in Herceg Novi for pizza and beer. Its is a very pretty small town but we didn't have much time there and hit the road again for Kotor. After a few kms we took a ferry across the bay saving 15km. The views along the Bay Of Kotor are stunning. It's something similar to Halong Bay in Vietnam but there are much fewer boats. All along the bay there were construction projects taking place. We arrived in Kotor at 6. Like Dubrovnik it is a walled city but it's much easier to get around in Kotor since there aren't so many tourists.
